2019 Australia Day Breakfast

Join us for the annual CFS fundraiser at the Clayton Bay Boat Club on Australia Day. There will be a raffle and Lucky Squares so bring along some extra coin to help make this the best fundraiser yet!

This year it will be followed by kite flying (weather permitting) and paper plane making/flying. So bring the kids, kites and your favourite paper plane designs – or use ours – and stay on for some family fun!

Enhancing Our Public Places Shelter Shed

This is pretty poor video of our shelter sheds, following their transformation. Annabelle Collett, project designer, Sam Mulcahy and Leonie Henderson put the finishing touches on the project today. The result is colourful and vibrant, surpassing the apt project title; Enhancing our Public Places. Well done to all the community members who assisted in the 10 day marathon. The installation represents at least 250 hours of work. The circular and oval motifs were completed ahead of this and would conservatively represent another 150 hours or more. Well done Clayton Bay.

Enhancing Our Public Places

Thanks to the Alexandrina Council Community grant and tiles donated by Beaumont Tiles this project is well underway. Community members designed mosaic circles which have now been applied to the shelter shed walls and linked with red mosaics. Thanks also to all volunteers and to artist Annabelle Collett, for her inspiration and guidance.

Community Information Session & Sharing of Ideas

A great turn up for the Community Information Session on the 24th March 2018

After the session, community members stayed on to enjoy a chat and sausage sizzle. Click the links below to access the Notes from the Info Session held at the hall on the 24th February and Information about the removal of Acacia saligna in Bayview Drive.
